Wouldn’t It Be Cool If…
Wouldn’t it be cool if cops would pull you over for good driving and instead of giving you a ticket, they would give you a certificate and some free movie tickets or something?
They could also use different colored lights to pull you over - like happy green and yellow instead of harsh red and blue. That way you could sit proudly in your car and wave to people passing by because everyone else would know you were being stopped for awesome driving instead of bad driving.
This would change the way everyone drives. You wouldn’t be as apprehensive when a cop is following behind you and people would go out of their way to drive nice.
Yeah, if I was mayor I would definitely do this…

People driving are typically going somewhere and it’s probably time sensitive, so despite the “rewards” you mentioned, I don’t think they’d be any happier that they missed their meeting (or what have you) in exchange for tickets to the movies.
Plus I don’t see this being applied to the real world with cops being so busy doing their primary job. IMO

Yeah, maybe.
So then we could make the reward really nice, like say, $500 bucks and only do it 2 or 3 times a month.
